Questo Lagrein con il suo colore rubino carico brillante è estremamente tipico e facilmente riconoscibile. Colpisce per l'eccellente equilibrio tra l'intensità e la complessità dei profumi speziati di piccoli frutti di bosco e di viola e la loro fragranza immediata, pulita, accattivante, fresca. In bocca è molto armonico, con una buona sostanza di tannini. Si allarga caldo, lungo, ben persistente con un corpo vellutato e rotondo, un finale leggermente speziato e un'acidità molto equilibrata.
Vinificazione:
Le uve vengono diraspate e il mosto fermenta per ca. 10 giorni a temperatura controllata. Durante la fermentazione rimane in continuo contatto con le bucce. Verso la fine della fermentazione lasciamo che la temperatura salga per ottenere una migliore estrazione di colori e sapori.
