Dessertwein
Il Cresta viene prodotto al maso "Kristplonerhof" a Guncina. Le uve Traminer migliori e più sane vengono selezionate e fatte appasire su graticci per ca. 5 mesi. Soltanto dopo vengono pressate. Il succo viene fatto fermentare con ceppi di lievito speciali. Si ottiene un vino dorato e dolce, con note di buccia d'arancia, di miele e frutta secca. In poche parole, proprio un buon Passito.
Il Cresta va bevuto al meglio con dolci e formaggi piccanti, specialmente Roquefort o Gorgonzola.
Vini da dessert sono invecchiabili per tanti anni e vanno bevuto a seconda dei gusti, a 12 - 18° C.
